Since 1965, Camping Ker Helen has been welcoming holidaymakers to the Bay of Arcachon in a natural, family-friendly setting. Created by Hélène and Jean Pujade, then taken over in 1996 by their son Lionel, the campsite has evolved while remaining true to its original spirit: conviviality, simplicity and respect for the environment.
Rated 4 stars, it now offers a wide range of accommodation, practical services and facilities designed to ensure a relaxing vacation. Here, at our campsite on the Bay of Arcachon, you’ll enjoy lush green surroundings, a warm atmosphere and a holiday close to nature.

Staying at Camping Ker Helen means enjoying a privileged location on the Bassin d’Arcachon, close to the beaches of the Bassin and the ocean. Located on Avenue de la Côte d’Argent, the campsite is also 800 m from a coastal path, ideal for discovering the landscapes between water and forest. Here, you can easily alternate between swimming, walking and relaxing in the heart of a preserved natural environment.
Cycling, hiking and boat trips are just some of the activities available around the campsite. You can also reach Arcachon or discover the Dune du Pilat, emblematic sites of the region. Between the ocean, the Basin and nature, your vacations here take on a simple and pleasant rhythm, true to the friendly family spirit of Camping Ker Helen.

At Camping Ker Helen, you’ll find a wide choice of accommodation to suit all your vacation needs on the Bassin d’Arcachon. Located in Le Teich, Gironde, the campsite offers cottagescottages chaletschalets fully-equipped tentslodges and pitches for camper vans, caravans or tents. Whether you’re looking for the comfortof a fully-equippedrental or the authenticity of a traditional campsite, there’s something for everyone, in a natural, green environment that’s true to the family spirit of camping.
Our rental accommodations include cottages, chalets, Kenya Lodges, Robinson Lodges,self-catering accommodation as well as PMR accommodation accommodation designed to facilitate circulation and access. Bare pitches are also available for motorhomes, caravans or several tents. A cabin for people with reduced mobility is available on the campsite.
For your stay in Gironde, rentals are available by the week in high season, and from 2 nights minimum in low season. Arrivals are between 2pm and 8pm, and departures before 10am. Pets weighing less than 10 kg are accepted, up to a maximum of one per rental, with an additional deposit of €90.

At Camping Ker Helen, you can take advantage of a heated swimming pool, open from 10am to 8pm, to alternate between moments of relaxation and more dynamic family moments. A paddling pool is also available for children, allowing everyone to cool off in a suitable setting.
Around the pool, deckchairs and umbrellas are available to extend your break in the sun or shade. The swimming pool is open from 01/05/2026 to 30/09/2026 and fits naturally into the friendly, family atmosphere of the campsite. Bathing suits or swimming trunks must be worn for swimming, as shorts are not permitted. Here, you can simply enjoy the water and the natural setting of our campsite with swimming pool on the Bay of Arcachon.

Simple, joyful family moments
Our family campsite on the Bay of Arcachon offers a wide range of activities and entertainment to keep you entertained throughout the day. In high season, we offer daily entertainment for adults and children alike, supervised by our entertainment team. Laser ball, ping-pong, a playground and big games are just some of the activities on offer. Sports enthusiasts can take part in tournaments organized on the multi-sports field, while pétanque tournaments bring campers together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Cycling tours are also available to discover the surrounding area.
For children, quiet times, workshops and dedicated activities are organized, as well as a reception for children aged 4 and over in July and August. In the evening, the atmosphere continues with themed evenings, bingo, concerts, DJs and dinner shows.
Outside the campsite, the Bassin d’Arcachon offers many possibilities: cycling, hiking, boat trips, discovering Arcachon or the Dune du Pilat. Between sea, forest and nature, everyone can compose their vacation at their own pace, between relaxation, sport and shared moments.

Our 4-star campsite on the Bay of Arcachon offers you all the services you need for a pleasant stay on the Bay of Arcachon.
Reception is open from 04/04 to 04/07 from 08:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00, and from 04/07 to 30/08 from 08:30 to 20:00. You’ll find information about the Bassin d’Arcachon, mail collection at 2:30pm, and the possibility of paying for your stay in instalments. Visitors are asked to report to reception, pay €2.50 per person and are not allowed access to the swimming pool.
On-site, you can enjoy a bar-restaurantand a grocery store open from 04/07 to 30/08/2026 from 08:15 to 23:00, offering groceries, bread, pastries and fresh produce. Adult bikes are available on loan, with a €100 deposit per bike. Electric vehicle charging stations are available, and a free Wi-Fi zone is available on the bar terrace (Wi-Fi surcharge elsewhere on the campsite). The sanitary facilities include laundry facilities, washing machines, tumble dryers and freezers, and bed linen is provided from 04/07 to 30/08. We’ve thought of everything to help you make the most of your vacation, combining comfort, conviviality and nature.

From our Ker Helen campsite in Le Teich on the Bassin d’Arcachon, you can take advantage of a privileged location to discover the Gironde and its varied landscapes. South of the Bassin d’Arcachonthe campsite is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling. Nearby, you can reach the famous Pilat Dune and admire its sunsets over the Atlantic coast. Just a few minutes away, the oyster-farming ports invite you to discover a local heritage rich in tradition, while the ornithological park of Le Teich offers a remarkable natural spectacle with numerous species of birds.
The Bassin d’Arcachon is also a popular destination for swimming along its sandy beaches. Canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddling and kite-surfing are just some of the water sports available in the area. You can also reach Bordeaux in around 35 minutes to explore the capital of Gironde.
