The mobile-home rentals close to the beach are meticulously maintained, so that all you have to do is put your things in the functional storage units and set off to explore the surrounding area. The same goes for the camping pitches, which are ideal for tents, motorhomes and caravans. This year’s refurbished aquatic area will be particularly popular during the high season, with a refreshing plunge after a long walk, and a paddling pool for the kids.

Around Le Teich, where the Ker Helen campsite is located, there are superb sandy beaches directly overlooking the Arcachon Basin. Bathing here is an experience not to be missed during your vacation in Gironde. As well as swimming and enjoying the mild climate, you can also take part in water sports just a few minutes from the campsite, by contacting one of the beginners’ clubs. You can try your hand at rowing, windsurfing or sea kayaking! Don’t forget to visit Arcachon, where you can also enjoy the fine sand and the relaxed atmosphere of the town.
