Monday: La Teste-de-Buch market
A great market to start the week! The Marché de La Teste-de-Buch is one of the largest markets in Gironde. In the town center, it brings together around twenty merchants and producers in the covered market hall, and over a hundred stallholders in the open air, up to 200 in the summer season! You’ll find everything from the freshest local produce and quality handicrafts to a wide selection of textiles, leather goods, shoes and flowers… An unmissable ritual for locals and holidaymakers alike!

Tuesday: Arès market
The Arès Market is a place where people meet and socialize. The colorful stalls are brimming with fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat, bread, cheese, flowers… Stalls selling clothes and handicrafts are also commonplace. Take the opportunity to discover the oyster port of Arès, the church of St Vincent de Paul, not forgetting the enigmatic Ovniport on the Dartiguelongue esplanade.

Wednesday: Gujan-Mestras market
A lively, gourmet stroll down the aisles of the Gujan-Mestras market! Every Wednesday morning, nearly fifty traders and producers gather at Place de la Gare for a grand display of colors and scents. You’ll find the best products the Arcachon Basin has to offer. Not to mention ready-to-wear, jewelry, toys, household linen, shoes and leather goods… to the delight of shoppers and tourists alike.

Thursday: Arcachon market
The Arcachon market is a veritable showcase for the local products that make up the Bay of Arcachon. In summer, bring your picnic basket and savour the quality and freshness of the produce. Seasonal fruit and vegetables, free-range chickens, Basin oysters and fish from auctions, pastries, cheeses and other local produce rub shoulders with specialities from our Basque and Landes neighbors. A friendly, authentic market that locavores love!

Friday: Andernos-les-Bains market
For a variety of pleasures, come to Andernos-les-Bains on Friday mornings, where good humour, quality and proximity are the watchwords of this charming little market. Under the covered market halls and in the village square, traders and producers give pride of place to local produce, ocean flavours and the colors of the South-West. There’s plenty of fresh local produce to stock up on before the weekend.

Saturday: Claouey market
At the entrance to the Cap Ferret peninsula, some 50 local traders, craftsmen and producers actively contribute to the success of this weekly event, which has become a must-see on the Bassin. Busy all year round, the Claouey market is even busier in summer. Clothes, handicrafts (jewelry, home decor, toys, cosmetics…), Basin souvenirs… customers are spoilt for choice!

Sunday: Biganos market
On the large square near the town hall, the Marché de Biganos brings together around forty stallholders during the summer months. What a treat to fill your basket with fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, oysters, roast chicken, bread, cheese and pastries in the covered market hall and adjacent streets! And don’t forget the shopkeepers selling clothes, shoes, decorative accessories, fashion, leather goods, jewelry… A Sunday rendezvous not to be missed!
